This class picks up where the first semester stops and continues with more in-depth instruction, including different types of essays. It expands upon the basic elements of structure and style as well as incorporating some memorization of Greek and Latin word roots. This is a technical and complex writing class, therefore, only students who have been through the first course of Excellence in Writing will be accepted. Some creative writing and poetry will be also be included in these lessons.
Students will be required to email assignments each week two days prior to class time.
Estimated Book and material fee of $20.00 per family.
While grades will be given on tests, quizzes, homework, and papers, the grade for each class will remain the responsibility of each student’s parents. A list of the student’s grades will be emailed to the parents at the end of each semester.
